After raising their family in this home, our clients sought to provide interior updates and additions that would reflect a lifestyle with more time for leisure and entertaining.
The interior remodel maintained the picturesque quality of the brick Tudor home while turning the focus outward. A glass and panel sunroom addition provides an abundance of light. Two levels of deck offer an easy transition into the garden and access the home’s expansive westerly views.
The small kitchen was remodeled in place, retaining its formal separation from the existing dining room, while opening to the newly-added sunroom. A generous second floor bath was divided to allow the addition of a small and elegant master bath. A corner walk-in closet was removed from the master bedroom and a classically detailed storage wall with window seat built in to provide contemplative focus and balance to the room.
