Teaming with The Bassetti Architects, we provided interior architecture for 200,000 square feet of historic restoration and new construction. Accommodating substantial new structural and mechanical systems while maintaining important historic detail, we developed the corridor system as an active ‘street’. Gathering recesses color coded to adjacent learning centers include notice boards and seating. Strong entry identification is provided for important spaces such as the Library and Commons which were adapted to new use from the former gymnasium and assembly areas while preserving important historic features.
